Bad luck Scotland

Back to school on Monday
Bad luck Scotland - falling to a 7 wicket defeat by Afghanistan in the ICC Trophy final in Dubai.  Hampered by injuries to skipper Gordon Drummond and Richie Berrington the Scots were unable to press home the advantage of their first innings lead.  The aggressive Afghan attack was too strong for the Scots batting, dismissing them for 82 (Watts top scoring with 28) and leaving a mere 124 to win.  So disappointment for all Scottish supporters.  Let's use the experience to take things further next year.

Well done Macca on his first innings century.  Neil and all the boys at Watsons are thrilled for you - but make sure you catch up on your homework before you get back to school.
