200 not out

This post brings up Fantasy Bob's double ton, elegantly steering a pacy delivery past extra cover.

Leading double tonner
200 is a lot of runs to get in one innings.  Let's face it, for FB, it is a lot of runs to get in one season.  In Test cricket, Bradman topped it 12 times - more than anyone else.  Lara has 9.  Bradman did it in 80 innings, Lara's was in 232.  Hammond is England's top double centurion with 7 (out of 140).

Bradman is also the leading double centurion in First Class cricket with 37, followed by Hammond with 36.  After Patsy Hendren with 22, comes Mark Ramprakash with 17 (and counting).

So far only Tendulkar has scored 200 in a ODI  v S Africa in February 2010 - although given the high scores in the present world cup this may change.

No Scottish batsman has scored 200 - the highest score being 190*  by J Aitchison against Ireland in 1959.  (A cruel declaration).
