It now seems that yet again Carlton management's planning for next season will have to be rethought. Fantasy Bob had understood they were poised to announce the arrival at Grange Loan next summer of Will Windsor, well known to all cricket lovers as a top-order kingly strokemaker. However Wills' availability is now in doubt since he and fellow St Andrews' graduate Kate Middleton have decided to get married.
A source inside the go-ahead Edinburgh club told FB, 'Wills has told us that his cricket will have to take a back seat next year. There'll be the wedding, then they'll have to get a flat and he says he expects to be up to his elbows in wallpaper and paint for most of the summer. Frankly it's a bit of a blow to our plans, but we have offered the happy couple the use of the clubhouse for the reception.'
